The Struggle


Day to day We go through this battle Whether to fight forward Or be defeated is the question There are so many excuses that can be heard You can’t do it I don’t believe that There are voices in the wall Everywhere I turn They eat away at me Make me wonder if it’s really true Why do I let them bother me These walls arise everywhere Every twist and turn Preventing me from my goal I see the sun though It appears brighter with every step The walls are just tiny dots in the distance There is hope The voices are just whispers My head is held high by the thoughts I believe
