The Struggle
Day to day
We go through this battle
Whether to fight forward
Or be defeated is the question
There are so many excuses that can be heard
You can’t do it
I don’t believe that
There are voices in the wall
Everywhere I turn
They eat away at me
Make me wonder if it’s really true
Why do I let them bother me
These walls arise everywhere
Every twist and turn
Preventing me from my goal
I see the sun though
It appears brighter with every step
The walls are just tiny dots in the distance
There is hope
The voices are just whispers
My head is held high by the thoughts
I believe
