The Struggle
Malcolm, Rosa, Dr. King.
Their fight gave me the right to sing.
Speak my voice, hear it loud.
Make all African-Americans proud.
Tubman, Douglas, Truth, all heard.
Listen close, hear my word.
Equal rights for all around.
Racist comments make no sound.
The struggle was real and they believed.
For us all, their goals achieved.
