Struggle Away

"Give Me Liberty!" I said,

But none responded.

Trapped in all my tears I shed,

and none responded.

I must venture to some place new.

I am many miles from home.

My friends know what to do,

But I am many miles from home.

I chanced giving my heart to some,

But I had to let them go.

I have found none like this one

So how do I not let her go?

I, a traveling son, am weary with dread

because of this road I walk

On this Rock I will to rest my head

And then continue this road I walk.
