The Struggle Inspires Me
Looking around me and seeing people struggle
That is what inspires me
You have the drug addicts
The homeless
The single parents
I want to make sure I have it all
Because when looking around me everyone is struggling
You have the crying babies
The drunks
The teen pregnancies
Not wanting to be like those people pushes me
Strengthens me
Redirects my focus on something that won’t tip my life
Because when looking around me
You wouldn’t want to be or see the drug addicts
Or the the homeless
The single parents
The crying babies
The drunks
Nor the teen pregnancies
Nobody wants to struggle
I don’t want to struggle
So I look at those who do and feed from it
Looking around me and seeing people struggling
That is what inspires me
