Struggle Turns To Strut

Location

There are mountains we must move in life

To get to the hills we sit atop

To watch the sun rise and set.

I lag from a torn leg and a broken heart,

But the blisters on my feet tell me,

"It's okay to struggle."

When the struggle turns to strut,

That's when our true colors show.

If we only live once but die twice,

The possiblilities are endless.

Maybe math isn't my strong suit.

Maybe the sky isn't blue.

Maybe these mountains we move

Are really valleys

We're supposed to walk through.

I am the sun you strive to see.

I am nothing other than flawless me.
