Struggling

Location

Life is a struggle
Sometimes you get smuggled
It is hard as a rock
Not easy to be unlocked
Some say you need a heart of steel
My words are very real

You learn the dos and don’ts of the game
And realize that people don’t always stay the same
Some go home and cry
Waiting and waiting to die
Crying to God wanting him to hear there plead
Because Mommas and Daddies can’t feed
Parents lose their jobs
Teenagers think they need to rob

Some shout “ why me!”
But if you take a deep breathe and actually see
See through all the lies
You will learn a lot
And never let it rot
Life is a struggle
Sometimes you get smuggled
