Struggling Feelings

Stressful butterflies fluttering

My heart continues stuttering

Seeing your face makes my day

You came to see me out of your way.

Rushing and running

Errands are crummy

You struggle to see me

You struggle to hug me.

Your efforts shine through

When your frustrations bloom

I’m very dense

When you become very tense.

I realize too late

That my gratitude is out-of-date

You’ve been fighting for attention for so long

I know how hard it is for you to be strong.

I thank you,

I Love you

And I’m happy with your efforts

Thank you so much my little leopard.

I always struggle with acknowledgment, and this is mostly me just recognizing and apologizing. Thanks for sharing, I'm still learning this lesson also!!

Acknowledgement and Appreciation is one the most important characteristics a person can have for we can end up losing so many beautiful, faithful people in our lives if we don't show these things. Lesson learned my friend and I am still learning this lesson too. Great poem and message. Keep writing on my friend.
