Stuck
Hebrews 10:35
35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence,
which has great reward.
Stuck.
Confidence lost … what is the cost?
Is there a price to be paid?
One life to live … nothing to give.
Death reigns from early to late.
No purpose in sight ... only darkness no light.
There is no use to go on.
Totally plastered ... a game never mastered.
Directions from the start were all wrong.
The rules made by self … stacked on a shelf
never looked at by others around.
A straight way to hell … as you can tell.
Never a truth to be found.
No faith in the heart … totally torn apart.
Insecurity swallows the whole.
Is this God's will … a bitter pill
that kicks and batters the soul?
Much anger inside … under girded by pride,
that sickness that in emptiness boils.
It drives from within … in directions I've been,
where the smell of death constantly spoils.
