I'm drowning in sadness.
Depression is rising up
Taking over my life
Choking me.
I can't breathe anymore
My life is slowly sputtering out
I am being extinguished.
The seaweed of hopelessness, of being unwanted and unloved grabs a hold of me
Trapping me, I can't get out.
A tidal wave of emotions crashes into me
It knocks me over
I'm on the edge
One more tiny push and I'll be
Falling
Racing
Crashing
Plunging
Until I hit the bottom
No chance to come back up
I will be stuck
Lost forever.
