Stuck in Transition

A dysphoria faces the mirror

Ashamed

Tucked away in purse pockets

and caps of lipstick

Constricting mind thoughts

-only abstract-

worry pounding heart

under baggy sweatshirts

Romanticising lies

that swell

under hooded figure

-an explanation of dissatisfaction.

Being obvious

But being unclear

to those who ‘care.’

Faeries, magick, enchantment, Tir Na Nog, Mother Earth, poetry, the stars, and wonder are all I need in life. Hey, I'm Salem. I'm just an average nobody trapped in forever cycles of hurt and repent. My mind mixes thought and reality ever so painfully which, in turn, creates the chaotic painting that is my life. Who said chaos couldn't be beautiful?

Thank you so much. This is so kind of you to say. You don't even realize how much this one comment touched me. Wow, this is going to seem incredibly lame (I take pride in my lameness xD) but reading that, I kind of started tearing up. I was having a really bad day but that made me feel so much better.

Thank you.

Your poems are absolutely amazing, no kidding. You should write a book on poems because no kidding but this is amazing. Seariously I'm not even kidding, I am just...wow. Its just amazing. I'm using a friends account (iswear the guys never on) but holy crap this is amazing. You make me want to write poems even though my best poem is pretty much 'I like cats. I also like Hats. Cats and hats. Yay.'

Anyways, I just wanted to say how awesome your poem is before my friend figures out that I have her computer.

(But seariously, this poem is seariously amazing-dying a little inside because of its awesomeness- )
