Students Know Best

What you can't say
And what you can't do
Limit who you are
In the classroom

Teachers know best
We are taught
Their minds have been
Through the easy and distraught

But we can provide
Something they lack
Their knowledge will subside
Their prime time moved back

Some think all knowledge is know
But we prove them wrong
For a time we have grown
Singing a different song

Our generation has assumed
Unique ways of thinking
From the media to classroom
Things have been changing

We show this to teachers
And teach them new ways
We turn the tables
On who is learning new things

We can't tell teachers
That sometimes we know best
They wouldn't like that
So we let it rest
