Students Matter
This is stupid
You are dumb
Me saying these things
Makes you feel numb
I act out
Because you don't hear me
So pay attention
Or I'll go crazy
You don't want me
I didn't ask to be here
Treat me like I'm special
So I don't make you fear
Missing me when I'm gone
Cause I'll leave this class
It could just be me
That gives you a task
A task of listening
To every student equally
Even though all us kids
Are not part of your community
