Stuggle

I've see it all and heard it all

No one can tell me my own story

Typical African American story of no father

Just a mother and hope to make it out of the struggle

I am not ashamed of where I come from

The hood is where my support is

Working hard to give my family what they need

Tired of the tears

Tired of the fears

My struggles will turn into victory

I refuse to give up

I will strive

I will rise
