Stumped

Quiescent minds, Slumbering velvet pine

under the scintillating sky. Childish,

Bashful, but Conscious. Thriving Limbs climb,

stretching with life, an unforeseen Death Wish

Rapacity... Interrupted silence.

Relentless chains grind, rotting muscles tense.

splintered, spliced, an unyielding violence.

Butchered faces twist. a frail wooden wince.

Bloodless pulp slurry. A vat that whistled

and spit and sputtered until it held paste

Pressed, squeezed, and molded. sucked dry and shriveled.

in the digital age, all for a waste

A lifeless blank slate. Pale, thin, and white.

Only a Graveyard for ink and graphite.
