Stupid Love Poems

  Flowers, chocolate,

Being held,

And cute little stuffed animals.

What a fairy tale lie.

The air isn’t filled with love.

It is filled with pollution.

Not like there is a difference.

Unfortunately,

I can still feel the drunkness

Of lips on mine.

I can still feel

The heat of their hands on my face.

I can still feel the warmth of

You holding me…

I can still hear the beating of your heart.

I can still hear those three words leave your lips.

Love is terrible.

Love will make you see the colors

More vividly.

Love paints memories in crystal detail.

Yes, being loved by you was the only thing I had wanted.

But I do not care.

Because love, is stupid,

It is so very stupid.
