subconscious

Let me slip into subconscious, Let me disappear. Turn me into fairy dust So I can float on air. Let me hide behind you, Let me run away. My frantic beating heart and brain, Still left in disarray. Let my mind escape me, Let my thoughts take flight. Enable me to sing a song With harmonies tonight. Let me melt into you, Let me give my all. For soon I promise I won't be The one who took the fall. Let me play pretend with you, Let me leave the ground. Shelter me from the world's hate And terror all around. Let me learn to love you. Let me learn to hate. Turn me into something I might appreciate.
