On the Subject of Change

(poems go here) Do you ever think how There are so many voices out there, And how so many of them Go through life singing under their breath-- Waitng, hoping somebody will hear them And ask them to speak up, Because they can't do it themselves Because what they want is to be noticed, But what they don't want is to have to change who they are In order to be noticed? So they go through life, singing under their breath; Waiting, hoping somebody will hear them, Hoping someone will glance over and see them for who they are And tell them that they're wonderful-- Because what they are is wonderful For not compromising that voice, That song under their breath, In order to have some other voice say it.
