Sublime Sunshine and Submissive Sorrow
The curtains close,
no ones home.
Blind eyes stare at what
Used to be there.
Outside,
Infected trees grow,
the sorrow lows.
One might say
“we are all gay and grey”,
but no one really knows
How deep the roots grow.
