Success

success is measurable from whats deep within

can be tainted by lies and especially sin

cannot be measured from any simplistic loss or win

It can hit you like a fist to a chin

catches you off guard you may lose your wind

or can take time like the revolution that's ken

to many of those who ponder and tend

to look back and worry about their thoughts and actions

dont lose sight of whats under your skin

thats your mind, soul, your ambition to win

sometimes things change and bend

just don't get brainwashed by society and trend

always remember let me say it again

that success is measurable from whats deep within
