Success

Very professional in the way the young kid walks

You can tell a lot by one’s accent and if he stutters when he talks

But this kid is very much a newcomer or more like a new soul on the break

Of finally learning a bit about how to give and take

He’s learning and he’s growing with an inevitability of success

While he drops the clip on and grabs the windsor off his desk

Formals turned to proms, promotions turned to graduations

Procrastinating was never the language he found himself communicating

None of that because he was all about his business

17, he came with a plan that every professor at the school would be a witness

Now 18, he wears sweats to class, fresh out of bed

But at the same time he’s wearing a three-piece suit with a handkerchief, in his head

Obstacles surround but fail to make sound

Because tunnel vision is in full effect because all he sees is that success

On the way to class, he’s thinking about his family because the rest don’t understand the mission

Then he sees a businessman with the same suit he had in his vision

Some kids his age admire the wrong things in attempts to relieve stress

But all the young kid has on his mind is the businessman’s success

Now that businessman gets off of work running his enterprise at a very young age

Then travels to the bank to cash in his salary instead of a menial minimum wage

He takes a smooth drive home in an all black ferrari

When he gets a call from his wife asking if he’s cool with the chef cooking calamari

He pulls up and parks the whip into the garage

Steps out and then walks pass 7 other cars

Kisses his wife and hugs his kid

Only 28 making money you would swear he was in show biz

He takes a step back and remembers with precision

When at 18 he seen a man in the same suit he had in his vision
