success is alone
Day in day out I seek for you. I want to build a relationship with you, but again, you have failed me. I feel as though you don't notice me, my hard work, my sorrow, my pain. But continue on, man, it will always be the same. You say "the white man is trying to hold us down" but that's not true, it's really you, alone. I'm trying I'm pushing, and yet I still lay on the beginning stepping stone. No! I say, I will keep working my way up. No! I will not be what they say I should be, a nobody. No! I am better than that, I will forsee the future and the goods it brings to me. But laugh on, because I know that my circumstance is not my conclusion.
