Success, I Guess
I am on the path to success,
Or at least everyone says so.
And as the days go by I'm wondering
If going to school will really make me successful.
If this is the path to success,
Why are so many people on the same path?
Maybe I took the wrong path.
Why does success actually seem so out of reach?
Maybe I'm following this path wrong.
Why is this path only really leading to the depression
Of thousands of students nation-wide?
Where they all hate school's system.
And as much as they try,
They can't help the feeling that
They will fail.
This path to success
Is not a successful path.
At every turn is the face of failure,
but success is supposed to lie at the end,
I guess.
