Success, Only in the Distance

What do I want To be when I grow up? If i get past highschool that would be good luck I can never make it out of a town, Living up just to bring me down. I tried and tried to get good grades But my parents faith in me would just fade. and as I floated down this path I found myself in a sticky aftermath. I went down a dark road, nowhere leading me home. I thought they were my friends but they were leading me to my bitter end. But alas as May came I saw my opputunity to new fame. and as soon as I got the chance to slip away I decided that finally my happiness could stay. I though success was in the distance, but it ran right up to me four years went by so quickly and now all I do is think. Think about how to fix how messed up I made my past. But if it's ment to be, things will work out... and last. My success is now no longer so ahead I'm staring at it, while lying in bed. I hope to venture on and stay with head held high, until I walk the stage again or alas i'd surly die. Some people have been proud, and others think ill fail but when I put my mind to it, I always will prevail. Do as I have, no matter what comes down Because no matter how far down the road, you can always turn around.
