Successful
The last time I wrote a poem
I was asking him to stop
Reminding him of the dangers
And hoping he wouldn’t drop.
No one knew the risks
He started when he was young
If only he would’ve known
Nicotine would hurt his lung.
Now writing to you today
Although the time was stressful
His plan to improve his health
Turned out to be successful.
