such beauty, such beauty found

such beauty, such beauty found in the most ineluctable eyes.
eyes that didn't see me get shoved over the edge.
so, i was allowed to fall, for hours on end.
breathing in deeply, taking in everything that was not oxygen.
and resting my head in my trembling hand.
forget.
a dreamer trapped in a dream.
nothing to feel, no way to deal.
exhaling out protean crystals of black.
that is until, i opened my eyes and you saw me,
allowing the falling to turn to floating, with a delicate landing into your embrasive arms.
the dreamer awakens,
looks up,
says,
"This is home."
and it ended with a beginning.
