sudden sun

dry eyes

a cold melodrama

the wondering, the reading

of the clouds

suspicious of the fickle

void, the sudden

the hail

the parting lips

revealing a sudden sun

or steps to God's

face shining only

on me.

hearing my prayers

even the ones I didn't

believe or dare to whisper.

seven ways of beauty

and darkness.
