Suffering Angel

We are all surrounded by hate,

In a world that is irate.

People don't know what friendship is

They just know what they want

And how to use others

To get what they want.

Then an angel smiles,

and I recognize... you!

You know how hard it is to get by

And you love others well.

Your different from them.

Anyone can tell that.

Don't get me wrong,

You have your moments,

When suffering enters your world.

But you look towards the sky.

What a role model.

I can't wait to see

You in heaven one day.

We can rejoice together,

For our prolonged suffering is done.
