Suffering in Silence
Sufferin In Silence..
By: Kimberly Baker
When will it end, was all she wanted to know
Tried to run so she slipped through the back door.
Little did she know trouble was waiting
She knew the routine, she took the pill and her world became faded.
The pain felt so good, she had no knowledge of how to cope
While she laid her head back and tensed with every stroke.
The hurt and shame she always felt
Those harsh words that made her heart melt.
Nobody knows just how she was feeling
She needed overall help not just a physical healing.
A spiritual, mental, and psychological reconstruction
To build back those walls torn down by verbal destruction.
To find that happy place that she never had
Looking for love in the wrong places turned her mad
Crazy, psychotic, a tragic mess,
Pulling out her hairs because of such emotional distress.
No one willing to save her from this monster
The visuals of previous abuse still haunts her.
Who will be the one to take her away from him?
Who wil save her before her light goes completely dim?
She begs for mercy without a sound, her voice shatters and breaks on the grond.
In deaf ears her cries are heard,
But for her there's no point in saying a word.
She can't even think of a way to save herself
So when wil it end...
When will it be over...So her life can finally begin.
