Sufferings
In my suffering you are worthy,
through my tears you are working,
from my scar's you write my story.
Through my body your passion is storming.
I see you everyday,
In the trees you show your glory,
your mightiness is seen in the morning.
Through my mourning you show your power.
Your power is evident in disaster.
1,000 tears may make a river,
but your everlasting ocean is always bigger.
My suffering is not eternal.
This trial I face will some day be a grad,
But will I give the glory to you dad?
Because it is in you who I take refuge.
That little while may seem forever,
but a lifetime of suffering has no comparison to eternal laughter.
As this pen touches this paper,
so my heart will ache later.
Like a wall filled with pins,
my heart is pierced from within.
40 days in the wilderness may make my head spin,
But once I walk into the room its to you who I grin.
So lets run!
Run the race and keep the faith.
Run!
Run the race until its done.
Run!
Don't look back, dont let the trials you face hold you back.
This suffering may last a little while,
But let Him help you smile.
Cuz life aint easy,
life is tough,
life is messy and fast where'd the time go?
It's hard to stay high when your feeling low,
when your lost on that lonely road,
but it's not a meaningless fight,
and it wont all happen over night,
so why not run to that small little light that always shines.
The light that shines bright like a diamond,
that illuminates when Satan's darkness is heightened.
When 40 days in the wilderness seems forever,
40 days in darkness not too much better,
A lifetime in bondage never ever,
with him, who breaks all those barriers forever.
