Suiting Up

He is an icon, a symbol, a hero for many.

As a child I strived to emulate him

Everytime I watched he was swift, cunning, an ultimately defeated every public enemy.

As more time elapsed his name became legendary.

As I matured I realized that my dream of becoming the Bat grew slim.

Alas, being a superhero is a chlidhood dream

So, I chose to pursue a profession that closely mirrors his every ideal.

Being an attorney allows me to fulfill my dream.

As I suit up against injustice I feel as if I am part of his team.

And when I leave my lair I know that I'm protecting my Gotham just as he protects his with a great amount of zeal.
