To Sum it Up

We dream forever,

about know what being a teenager feels like.

The excitement,

of having friends.

The fear,

of change and new beginnings.

The wonder,

about what being older can feel like.

To sum it up,

it feels like drowning,

in an empty abyss,

with a thousand eyes,

waiting to watch you die.
