Summer
The sun shines with a bright glare
Bees buzz around all day
The night sky is filled with the smell of summer air
The days of cold are now else where
It is so hot outside that there is nothing left to say
The sun shines with a bright glare
Staring at the stars in the night sky, you wouldn’t want to be anywhere but there
In your mind, all the past summer nights replay
The night sky is filled with the smell of summer air
Sipping lemonade on the porch, in your favorite chair
The freshly cut grass is on display
The sun shines with a bright glare
Listening to the crickets chirp the night away without a care
Watching the night owls come out and play
The night sky is filled with the smell of summer air
The flowers are bloomed and colorful, you can’t help but stare
Hoping these nights never go away
The sun shines with a bright glare
The night sky is filled with the smell of summer air
