To Summer

Out on the beach

There I am

Looking out over the ocean

I see the sun

Sinking

Sinking

Sinking

Slowly down off the horizon

Like a hot air balloon,

coming,

Slowly but surely

Towards Earth

The ocean sparks

The sea a rush

Crashing

Crashing

Crashing

Prowling like a tiger

Creeping up to catch its prey

Then retreating to hide once again

You,

 you warm Summer air

Blowing my hair

In wisps around my face

You.

Summer.

Filling my heart with Hope and Calmness

And I am no longer lost

Out on the beach

There I am

Looking out over the ocean.
