The Summer of 2014

Summer of 14’

My favorite part of the year is summer,

Where I wear shorts and a t-shirt

And ride in my hummer.

I like to eat pizza

With all of my friends,

I love to play golf,

While looking through my lens.

I’d love to go to England

For the second time,

Maybe make a bet

To beat Jack Lime.

Sleeping past nine

Is a regular occasion,

While playing video games

On maps like Invasion.

I love to play with my dog,

She acts like my mom,

She gets what she wants,

Even though she’s the size of my palm.

Going on a boat

Is definitely a must,

Excited that I don’t have to

Travel by a bus.

I am very good at soccer

And so are my buddies,

We are pumped that we don’t have to

Worry about our studies.

Our favorite thing to do

Is hang at the Hayes house,

Play lots of Ping-Pong

And listen to Jay-Zs spouse.

At night we sit outside

All around the fire,

Look at the stars

And sing like the choir.

The whole month of August

                                                            Is the most depressing,

Because schools around the corner,

And has every kid stressing.

Varsity sports will start very soon

Everyone’s tryouts are 8am to noon,

It’s my senior year,

I cannot wait,

For the year to start

And to graduate.

As of right now

This isn’t what I wanted,

An injury has held me back

So this year was taunted.

March 31st is the day I will return,

I’m not going to lie,

I will have some concern.
