Summer Day

Baby's-breath tickling your feet Pick a bunch in the summer sun Give them to the next person you meet Revel in the smell of the grass Sit at your papa's memorial bench Kneel before it and make your own mass Place flowers from the hands you clench Smile and return to the fun Remember it all
