Summer Enchantress

She's the midsummer's flowers,

The prolonged day's hours.

My reason for an immortal diet

Just for a glimpse of her enchanted souls quiet.

Her spirit far beyond one to indict

So here I sit, compelled to write.

Her sweetness lies where suckles dwell

And her eyes are blue pools, a crystal wealth.

She's like a delicate petal's residue that remains on your fingers.

The tickles from blades of grass that lingers.

She's a glimmering ray of sunlight,

And the moon's butterflies come together to dress her at night.

She is the rose tamer.

With thorns wrap around her wrists bleeding on the roses which became her.

Her cuts wept a ruby red pomegranate,

Thus creating the lustful petal color that enchants it.

She is night, she is day.

Her smile is where all hope lay.

She is, my midsummer's night dream.
