Summer Sweetness

Water swishes between my toes

As I soak in the summer heat, standing in this small brook

The water gurgles softly as it washes over the rocks and through the grasses

I close my eyes and tilt my face up towards the sun

Your melodic voice reaches my ears and I turn around

My eyes open and there's your handsome face

I lean toward you, arms outstretched

You envelope me in your arms and I feel your warmth

Right before your soft lips touch mine, and I can still taste the tea on your lips
