A Summer Wish
Eyes wild, cheeks plump
Long Hair and dirty toes
Lips stained red
Juice trickles down,
Each bead chasing the last
Her chin streaked
Sticky and full
Her eyes shine with laziness
And warmth
It reminds me of someone,
Someone I once knew well
I sit across from her entity
The silence breaks
The illusion is shattered
My words riddle her
I am foreign, unknown
The earth has passed around
The sun many times
I have aged
But she remains still
Untouchable to us
To me
Rememberance is key
To forget is unrecognizable
Innocence unweathered
Harmony resides in me
She smiles unaware
From across the rickey table
And I
I become all
