Summer's Peace
(poems go here) Warm is the touch of the sun,
The winds massage my aching body.
The season returns with its tranquility.
Flowers smile and grant peace.
Trees sway to the pulse of life,
My heart in tune.
Clouds float above.
I move with them.
Gliding along the soft ground.
The river flows,
Taking all cares, worries and regrets,
Sends them with the flow,
to eternity; forgotten.
Caught in the rhythm of the falls.
Time sits next to me,
and gazes on the same scene.
Night comes, but the drum still beats
The moon peers down,
A sweet memory of the day.
With him at his brightest,
The night glows.
The grass sings,
The soothing song of few notes.
My mind freed,
Thoughts move slow.
They all want to see what I do.
The beauty of a warm summer day.
