Summer's Warmth Brings Potential and Hope

Is it bad that When I look at you I see potential Even When I'm suppose to be all broken-up Even When I'm suppose to be struggling Even though I'm suppose to be crying? I tell myself I'm confused and not interested, I'm not ready for another broken heart I'm only just transferring old emotions onto you Maybe, it's true Or, could it be possible I'm just hiding? Whenever your not around, I wonder if you're thinking about me I wonder what it would be like to hold you I wonder, right at this moment, if it's the same for you? It's been so long since I have felt such delight It's been so long since I felt so giddy. My Mind keeps me suspicious My Heart keeps me at arms-length My Soul keeps me hopeful, But I'm still trembling from the cold Even with Summer's Warmth against my skin How can I heal my scars and bruises? I shouldn't sneak glances at you Potential or not, I'm still an unfinished puzzle Telling myself, I'm strong enough alone And yet, whenever your not around, My soul keep me hopeful. Maybe's its not so bad.
