Summertime

A great escape,

Break from reality.

Cooling breezes,

Dogs frolicking.

Empty mind,

Freedom.

Glorious memories,

Hot weather.

I love summertime,

Just the way it is.

Knowing there are no obligations,

Living freely.

More sunshine,

No responsibilities.

Ohana-my family;

People that matter to me,

Quirky and kind.

Resting in the sunshine,

Summertime.

Time to relax,

Under the trees.

Very alluring.

Wintertime’s opposite,

X-tremely delightful.

You all love summertime,

Zebras and all animals alike.
