Summertime

My favorite time of the year,

Is all filled with cheer.

The beach, the sun,

It’s all so fun.

The summertime breeze,

Needs to come sooner please.

Splashing in the waves,

Fulfills  my summer craves.

My pale skin is burning in the sun,

I can tell you it’s really not fun.

My skin becomes tan,

As I lay in the warm sand.

Summertime is my favorite time of the year,

I can’t wait for it to be here!
