Summertime Blues
Time flies by so fast.
In an instant life has passed.
You sit at home and wonder how can yesterday be the past?
Time is of the essence, that's something we all knew.
But if I had more time I'd live each day anew.
I'd finish that novel that I put off for weeks, or stuff samples of a new cuisine in between my cheeks.
I'd sit on the beach and contemplate life, daydreaming about how I'd make a great wife.
I'd forget how much my life is a bummer, and all of the beautiful time I've wasted this summer.
Time Indeed flies by so fast, but the memories we make will forever last.
