The Summit

All these moments that shape are lives

Some are in love some not so bright

I was very well aware of when my transition came

All of our barriers and troubles exchanged

I never shed more tears in my life

With these strangers I had known for little time

Didn't know their stories

Quick to Judge

The blonde party girl or the outcast nerd

One was abused

Had a friend

Who almost always wanted his life to end

The words they spoke, paralyzing

Sharp and cold so life changing

Oh so quick to judge

But if I had been there I wouldn't have nudged

All at end when we reached the summit

The music, their eyes

I felt it deep

For a life changing experience

My heart outreached
