The Sun
The sun so large, so immense, casts a shade
Contains life that spreads like a wild fire
Induces growth as it begins to fade
Reaching the heavens as it aims higher
The sparks of passion, the scent of flowers
The aroma in strands of death, inhaled.
The taste of a spice in which empowers
Since creation, logic has not pervailed
As another sits, one can only wait
In that time, clarity, is no longer
As it falls, a lock revealed to a gate
An eclipse can only make it stronger
A beam of light can only go so far
And pray that it will reach another star.
