Sun

Blinding sun

With iridescent eyes

Shine upon

My endless cries

And wash away

The hopeless hours

And minutes

That the day devours

Pave the lifeless

Labyrinthine streets

With meandering

Childhood dreams

And guide them to

The golden halls

Beyond my crumbling

Ivied walls

And shine your angelic

Rays of yore

Upon the banks

Of my dying shore

And shine your angelic

rays of yore

so that my soul

will be reborn
