The Sun

It watched me, the sun. It taunted me while a man that wasn't part of me took a apart of me, and my sister. I tried to tell my mom that the man she loved, loved me, but she didn't want to listen.
It was there when I witnessed my mom getting higher than the clouds that surreptitiously talked about her behind her back, and then turned around and gave her epmty hopes of a good day. Because of my moms neglection my sister caught an infection and succumbed, leaving me in this prison to fend for myself.
He hovered over my sister's still body and had the nerve to cry inconsequential tears that seeped into her casket and drowned her in pity.
He saw everything and said nothing!
So why shouldn't I drown in a sea of my dispair?! I just want to go into a deep, never ending sleep so I can hear my sisters angelic voice once again.
To be at peace with the world and myself.
