The Sun

Life without you

is an empty jar for a soul

No jewels or money

can make me feel whole

Only you n you only

your all I need

You open my eyes to the finer things

And the finer things doesn't mean it cost

Sometimes the finer things in life

....are the things we've lost

I won't go a second , a minute, or even an hour

without embracing your loving  power

My brother shed his blood for me

to ensure my life in ectasy

I walk through the valley of the shadow of death

You still remain next to me

what is next for me

nothing else can be

No one else has seen

the things you've done for me

I was poor as dirt

but now money is abundantly

Just enough to get in school

To learn how to give back what you've done  for me

I will not take for granted the things you gave me

Or ignore the paths you've made me

The road ahead may look far and hazy

I won't let that change me

I won't let that phase me

You by myside is your greatest favor

The only thing I can't live without....

.. My Lord and savior
