Sun and Hope

The morning sun

Shining on my face

Blending in harmony

With my tears

Tears of pain

Tears of sorrow

Tears of hate

And some are just there

With every tear

I feel relief

Oh, sweet relief

From my fears

My fears are little

But, yet, they are so great

Escaping from my eyes

And running down my face

I needed this time

To release my fears through my tears

They are not gone but yet their space is shared

Shared with the sun, with hope

The hope for a better tomorrow

I live in a small town so there is not much to do. Writing is a way for me to entertain myself when I'm not busy with cheerleading practice and all the other clubs I'm involved in. I hope you enjoy my poems as much as I enjoy writing them! :)
