The Sun and the Stars

A star is held high in the sky

Bright for all to see

Amazement and admiration

Untouchable balls of fire

Lighting up the sky with beauty

Elegance

As I look up

I want to be..a star

Held high above others

With intimidating fire

Oh, the stars

Oh, but the sun

The sun is quite the same

But the sun we don’t admire

Its’ gifts are unseen

Yet wildly fascinating

Fueling and enriching our bodies as we..

 Admire the stars

Oh the sun works hard and long all day as we

Admire the stars

Guiding us to the next path

Consistently sharing its light

Reminding our spirits of a new day

A new way

To look at our journey around the sun

Oh, the sun

I want to be The Sun.
